Growing up on a farm at the Dutch coast made me apreciate the beauty of leisure, nature, action sports and designing and building appealing products.

After 4.5 years of studiing I graduated at Design Academy Eindhoven in januari 2008.

My graduation product was the OKES lifestyle bike, a solid oak wood bicycle designed with different looks and materials. This bike travelled all over Europe to exhibitions in Milan, Stockholm, Berlin, Amsterdam and eindhoven.

Right after my studies I stared as Reinier Korstanje Design. A company that is specialized in designing lifestyle and leisure products, concepts and graphics.
After my Internship at Prolimit South africa I was asked to do more products for this surf brand. So now one of my bigger clients is Kubus Sports B.V. For this company I design producs for the watersport brand Prolimit. Products such as windsurfing and kitesurfing harnesses, wetsuits, boardbags, packs and bags and other accessoiries.

Another brand they supply is Brabo. This brand is growing quickly in the hockey marked, so I am the dedicated designer to do their bags.

Reinier Korstanje Design was based on the NDSM werf in Amsterdam-Holland in 2009-2010.

Since the 2010 summer I moved to Den Haag, Scheveningen, right in the harbour and in the center of the best ducth surfing companies.

Part of my time I travel around the world to visit factories in China and other Asian countries. In the European winter I spend most of my time in the South-African summer. The South-African conditions are ideal for testing surf producs during our design process.

when I am not designing for clients I design and build my own products such as bikes, furniture, graphics and more.
